i have a little sludge in my oil and plan on doing a oil/filter change soon but was going to use some seafoam i just head of to clean my oil lines. i read several forums that say to use 1/3 in gas tank 1/3 in oil and 1/3 in the air vacuum hose while the car is on then let it stall by smothering it in seafoam. i then came across a few forums that said it wasn't necessary to put it in the vacuum hose and was curious if i need to. i also was curious about how long after i use it should i do the oil change? how long until the "cleansing process" has worked? thank you
