Okay. I'm a moron.
Had a small idle issue- car would catch at around 1500 rpms sometimes, and would idle at that.
Anyways, to try and fix it, I figured I'd remove the IAC valve, clean it, replace it, hope that would do the trick..
Long story short, somewhere along the line, I f'ed up in a big way, and now my car isn't starting.
To retrace my steps: I removed my CAI, pulled the engine cover off, removed all the hoses and electrical cables to the throttle body, pulled it off all the way because the gasket was broken anyways.
Here's where I got stupid. The circular part hanging from the clip under the throttle body? Yeah. I assumed that was the IAC valve, so I pulled it off and sprayed carb/air intake cleaner in there. Popped it back on, replaced the gasket, etc., let it dry, put everything back together. Fast forward to the next day: Try to start the car, but all it does is misfire, backfire, and die on me.
So I order an IAC valve thru Autozone, it comes, and I realize my mistake- I cleaned the wrong part, and now I'm starting to be concerned that I might not have put it all back together correctly. So... The electrical cables have colored ends, I was hoping maybe someone could guide me as to which ones go where, and I'd love it if someone could help me get the right cables in the right places...
And it would be great if someone could inform me if there's anything else that's going to need replacing now that I f'ed up my purge valve. (Just figured out what it was.)
