I've searched the forums and found an overwhelming amount of HID-related threads, but I'm having a few problems that I haven't seen covered.
Here is what I've done so far:

Is that not correct? It seems pretty self explanatory that that is the way to do it. And if that's right, then it seems to me that this oval plug should plug into the rectangular OEM plug.

I found out today though, that an oval is one shape, and a rectangle is another shape that isn't an oval at all. Tomorrow, I hope to learn colors. But for now, this is kicking my ***. Where are the red and black wires supposed to go, if not to the factory red and black wires? Or... how does one make the rectangle go into the oval hole?
I feel like I'm overlooking something really obvious, so if I get flamed for this, I don't even care as long as someone points me in the right direction.
