So my friend was driving my car today and he decided to use the manual shifter thingy (someone inform me on the proper name please lol) he drove it for maybe 20 miles tops, just normal city driving, and dumb stuff doing a few times. We were driving back and got to his neighborhood and it started flashing in between the normal drive mode and the gears, then it only displayed the drive option. I lectured him and said that he broke my car and drove it home to take the shifter thing apart to see if i could get to work again.. no luck. I took it apart and saw the two clips that control the shift, and everything seems fine. Anyone have any ideas on whats wrong? i already searched and reset the computer and everything.
