car cannot reach red line

hey guya i have an emergency problem
when i try to accelrate on any gear the car stop rev at 5500 rpm or when i try to rev to red line and my leg on the throttle pedal the engine rev to redline and go back to 5000 rpm many times.
when i disconnect the ecu and i connect it again and try it the problem is gone what can i fix it
note that i try another ecu and same problem
please help me

Hi people.! This car makes me crazy.. Yesterday when i try to use the car for my surprise the car didn't start. Surprise because i use it in a few hours before of this fail. So the car have this parts brand because i do a extended tune up. I put new ignition, new sparks , new cables, new iac, new tps, new pcv,new purge valve, new pressure regulator, new camshaft. I did t change the crankshaft because i put new one in 2 or 3 years ago a d the car didn't ran to much daily. All the parts are GENUINE PARTS. so.. i pulling out my tester and i found some weird things. I check the manual i download here. And there said the harness plug connector in the iac , maf, cam and crank will have the battery voltage you know i understood from that will be 12.6v. But in crankshaft (always with disconnected and key in ON position ) have a 5.000v and in the iac have 3.5v .. i believed iac is 12v and that's was said in the manual. . I didn't know what to do.. the car didn't have any cel before this happen the car runs great. NO HAVE SPARK at the ignition. I didn't check the fuel pump because i believed i ear the noise of current there. Only no ear is a gurgle sounds makes after the pump is activated if i did t start the car. You know put the key in start and stay in the car and you can ear a gurgle noise from the pump or the gas tank i don't know. What i need to check.. i check fuses and relays. I switch the relays and some fuses and nothing check with car light tester and multimeter.. a few years ago i have a similar problem but a electromechanic fix it and told me was be a burn cable in from the dash but how i know because i see under dash to much cables. Can i need to check the ignition key plug ?

Cranking but won’t start

I have an 05 GT and I drove to work the other day and everything was fine. No noises no starting issues was completely normal. Get out of work about 6 hours later and Tib won’t start. It just keeps cranking.

So I had another Crankshaft sensor and thought it could be that and since I have one I will try it. Got it in this morning, crossed my fingers and same thing.

I don’t hear the fuel pump priming so should I go there next? Could it be spark plugs? Battery seems fine but I could get that tested but it’s only two years old. I just need some guidance on what my next step should be without just throwing money at it. I’m at a loss and frustrated. I do not wanna go to a garage at all.

I’m not looking to dump a bunch of money into this car. I am honestly trying to get it back to running to sell it.

Any help is appreciated.

I have a 2003 gt Tiburon 2.7 L engine. I'm not 100 percent sure of all after market things done to it but I am having trouble with the engine. When I start it it sounds almost like it is going to die, raising ROMs then going very low then going back up to normal then raising again. After a while it mellows out alot. When I'm driving in automatic and going between 37 and 45 it feels almost like it is changing from 3rd to 4th gear and back again and again. When I have it in manual it doesn't do it. Also when I'm at a stop light and I start to drive it takes a second for the acceleration to actually happen. I know my o2 sensors are out and I just replaced all plugs and coil packs. I just want my tibby to run good:/. I've got a few videos I'll post and I'll also take more later. I'll put up some engine pictures as well the wirings all weird. I need help badly. There's other problems but I'm more worried about the engine running correct. Not ac and sunroof exactly

So not sure what happened exactly but car died a while back. Not sure what happened but replaced the positive battery connections and car started up. Had some problems still. But all of a side the sun roof didn't work and the ac didn't turn on at all. Played with some fuses and they all blow every time I put them in. So I went from a 10 amp fuse to w 25 amp fuse and it all came back on and worked good. But now even if the car is off the sun roof can open and close and I can turn the fan on and the AC on in the car even when it is off.
I'm not sure what's going on exactly I need some tibby help here. I had one before and I never had problems like this but this one is making no sense at all.

Pigtail or snap connection .i just replaced my camshaft position sensor and now the white connector right next to it is broken. No one seems to know what it is so I can buy new one! Can someone please help. It’s 2003

Alas my attempts to sell my Tib as a whole have not brought me any luck and now I am forced to be parting with it. I haven't been driving it since getting the 3.8 Gencoupe a couple months ago and it is currently just sitting in our shop. While its heartbreaking to be stripping this beauty down I can't justify keeping it together simply to have and not use. Thank you to all who have helped me along my journey, I learned a great deal and had the time of my life putting together my build.

Okay, bear with me on the girly descriptions, okay? I know a little bit but not much and i have no help and need this car. Drove perfectly for 2 days and died coming up a steep hill. I lost power, mo brakes, no power s steering, nothing. I had it towed to my uncles and did what checks I knew to do. Spark plugs are firing. No blown fuses that I could find. Fuel pump sounds like it's humming when you try to start the car. It will crank but won't turn over. It was showing a check engine light before it died but didn't read a code after it stalled out. Not leaking any fluids. Timing belt seems to be intact, battery is charged.. an old mechanic friend took a look at it and removed where the intake goes into the engine?? He said that it should be sucking very hard right there and it's not. He thinks it's timing belt. Loss of power after 4000 rpm ...

Hello all,
I recently replaced the heads on my 04 gt with 2.7 and 6 speed manual. Timing belt snapped and bent some valves in the old heads. Anyway, got everything together and engine bay cleaned up nice, She started right up without hesitation and idles smoother than ever before. She revs okay too, but only to 5000rpm while in neutral. When driving I lose all hp/torque at 3800-4000rpm and she will not go over 4600rpm. Timing is perfect, I triple checked. I did get 2 codes... both banks upstream o2 sensor heaters (which were fine before). And when they went out on me about a year ago I did not have a problem like this. It is driving me crazy. As a daily driver it is fine, but if I want to get a little spirited... :|dead!
*Blue 3.5L fuel injectors

Edit: Just found out that she will actually rev to 6500+ in neutral as long as I do not give full throttle (about 1/2-3/4 throttle). Give it full throttle and she struggles at 5000.

hello all, i got my tib about a month ago now, and i'm still obsessed. but she has her cosmetic imperfections. there is a very bad rust spot on the driver door, as shown below. two questions, is it worth trying to fill? and will this door i found on ebay fit my tib? the rest of the door is good, just the bottom and corner. i actually live in PA and i'd make the trip if it's worth it. anything helps, thanks!

Check engine codes, emission monitoring, and revving issue

The vehicle is a 2003 Hyundai Tiburon V6 GT 6MT

I currently have four check engine codes that disappear on their own and randomly pop up.

Two current faults are:
P0171 - Power Train
P0174 - Power Train

Pending codes are:
P0102 - Mass or air flow circuit low input
P0123 - Throttle/pedal position sensor/Switch A circuit high input

I've driven my car for more than 500 miles and the catalyst, evaporative system, O2 sensor, and O2 sensor heater remain incomplete.

The revving issue usually happens after I've been driving for a few minutes and whenever I come to a stop or put my vehicle into neutral from gears one through six, my RPM randomly fluctuates. Sometimes it's hovering around 1500 rpm or at about 3100 rpm, I usually turn off the engine or I shift into first gear and I release the clutch pedal half way through and hold it there while at a stoplight to avoid overheating the engine. I've gotten this problem fixed by a mechanic and I still have the paperwork so replacing that same part might resolve this issue.

Overall, I would appreciate feedback regarding the check engine codes and incomplete monitor sensors.

I've also noticed that while driving, it's difficult to shift gears into neutral, and sometimes I have to force a shift into neutral because there's a small budge in the way.

Throttle cable is so slack it dosent move throttle body, I’m going to replace the hole thing inside and out but will the cable from an 08 gt work in 05 gt?

Is it possible for the struts to pass a “bounce test” but still be bad/blown? At low speeds it feels relatively normal and hits bumps firm which would make me think they are working. I don’t believe they are bottoming out. The main issue is that they steering feels very loose and the car seems to float and feel like a boat. If I needed to weave in and out of traffic a little that would be impossible without tapping the break or gas while going in and out of traffic. There is a lot of increased roll.

The car is a 2004 v6 with koni struts and eibach pro springs, dc front and rear strut bar, 2003 front sway and progress rear sway, ingalls rear arms, ultra rev front chassis and room bar brace. The koni were purchased used with I believe around 40k miles on them from a reputable member on here. Honestly not sure what else it could be besides the struts though.

Bizarre power loss

I have 2005 manual/stick shift gtv6 6 SPD with full exhaust including headers and racing cat

So I just pluged in my battery after car wasn't used for 6 weeks! And she flew, but after a few days the power really dipped to the point where its all noise and hardly any acceleration, rpms seem to rise quick as usual,and I don't think its the ecu going back to normal after that initial power reset because it's been a week now and while there's power dips the car drives well at startup for first 15 mins or so then goes bad

Now for the strange part When I hit fan speed on my A/C unit the car improves,but only with non recycled and no A/C running just outside air coming in.

This problem has been happening for years

Its winter here and 10 degrees Celsius and under and temp gauge is fine with no high readings plus I have a 1 yr old new radiator and stock airflow box

It's doing my head in, within the same drive the car dips and rises with power and randomly

For those first few days it drove very well and fast no matter how long I drove it for and regardless of the outside temp

I really hope someone can help me out
