so i drive a 07 v6 and had headers on since i bought it. DMV caught on about my inspections and now im trying to fix things up. By swapping back to the stock manifolds, would that clear my cel or would i need all the pipes too? i wanted to try the sensor stuff but like people said, its a hit or miss, or doesnt work at all.

04 Santa Fe brakes on 07 tib
Went to the junkyard to look for the xg350 brakes and no luck. What I did find alot was 04 Santa Fe an they have the dual piston front brakes so I searched and didn't find an answer to see if they fit the tib. How or does anyone know if they fit or where can I check?

I just bought my first car (2006 Tiburon GT) on Tuesday... My husband and I drove 11 hours in one day to pick it up and i absolutely LOVE it!!
I have been riding my '07 Kawasaki ZZR600 as my only transportation for 6 years (Rain, Cold, Heat, Hurricanes, EVERYTHING) and this is Officially my first car... MUCH needed car! Soooo tired of riding in the weather.. It really takes the fun out of having a bike!
I came on here hoping to find customizing ideas and references for parts.. I would like to find the OEM tan leather shift knob and floor mats to start with..

Well what to do next
Well i have a SRI and an Obx cat-back. I got it from a local tib driver who had a resonator and O2 bungs welded. I already have the po430 code and im still running on stock headers. I do plan on getting a set of after markets i just don't know which yet, search bar has been my friend. But im wondering if i should go ahead and move the O2 sensors to post cat and see if that helps with the Cel, and if so where could i get the parts to make a pigtail extension, or if i should just dangle them in the air?

Is this a high flow cat?
I bought a used exhaust locally here and it has what looks like a high flow cat bolted onto the end of it. It is quite small, and looking through it it looks like a wire mesh/screen inside it is made by Hyundai (might be the Hyundai Canada performance division). So is this a high flow cat or just a regular catalytic converter or what? Thanks for the input

It works great, and i've made the connections so i can put the camera anytime i want or when i put the car in reverse

FS: Borla Exhaust for sale
I sold my 2005 Tiburon in October. I have the Borla exhaust from it that I am wanting to sell. I bought the exhaust fall of 2011 and it only has approx 12,000 mi on it. Tips are in excellent condition, resonator does not have a flange so the exhaust just needs welded on. (shop cut the Borla to add the hi-flow cat without my knowledge) Brand new is $600.00, I am asking 375.00 +shipping for NT members. Well i didnt read the rules and my original post was deleted (sorry). Here we go again, this is my
first Tib didnt know much about hyundais but after driving her for a few weeks i quickly changed my
mind.
So far i've put on 8k hids (low), Injen Sri, and a set of 17'' Millani Kool whips (not my fav but they
were on sale and affordable), Tuscani badges
Future plans include
K sport coilovers
tomato A&P bodykit
NIA eyelids
window tint
a set of xxr wheels ( not sure which ones yet)
and some sort of exhaust setup

clutch slipping when shifting at high rpms
hey,
ok i have a problem, for a while now after launching my car would be fine untill i changed into 3rd gear. when i would dump the clutch and punch it the clutch wouldn't grab and it would rev high. id have to let off the gas and slam it agian and it would grab and be fine, but ever since i installed my poly mounts it does the same thing in 2nd gear too. any thoughts? i have no idea
btw my current clutch is a ACT HY2-HDSD - HD/Perf Street Rigid (less than a year old)

2. no horn

HELP with my power windows
Alright NT, need some help.
This is happening on my WWW Tiburon that you can see here.
The power windows are a no go right now.
Things I do and do not know:
Does anyone know if the 'control unit' is located in circuitry within the window switch or in the BCM?

Things I do and do not know:
- The fuse is GOOD
- Switches are operational
- Power is present at the relay and it is actuating
- Power is at the the driver side switch
- Power is at the driver side motor when switched and it actuating properly (+ > -, - > +)
- The ground at the driver side window motor is extremely noisy (I am only testing with a multimeter, but when testing ground continuity it sounds like a low frequency pulse, maybe even a sine wave [4 - 10Hz or so based on the pulsing tone on the meter). This applies to both polarity directions + > - and - >+)
- The voltage at pin 10 on the left window switch is 12V. At pin 5 on the right window switch there is ~7V when the passenger side window is enabled and ~5V when disabled. Shouldn't it be equal to pin 10 on the left switch?
- I'm pretty sure the driver side motor is dead. But something is up with the wiring for the passenger side. Getting (what I'm assuming is) partial voltage to the passenger switch.
- The illumination on the switches was fine. Then my friend shorted something with that. The illumination is still good on the dash (gauges, HVAC, etc.). I haven't checked fuses but isn't the illumination circuit all off one fuse?

Door Underglow
I'd like some feedback on an idea I've been wanting to implement, but I'm not exactly sure.
Background: I've got a bunch of RGB LED ribbon with SMDs on it. I've got strips set up in the footwells and along the rear seat compartment. The problem is that I still have more ribbon :P I thought about maybe doing some vent glows, speaker glow, extra trunk lighting or even somewhere in the engine compartment (maybe).
Anyway, back to the whole reason we're both here: Door Underglow. I thought it might be cool, since underglow is illegal pretty much everywhere unless you're parked, to have a strip on the bottom of the door. Thus, even when you get out of the car, you're still glowing ;) And since you're not going to have the door open whilst moving, it's perfectly legal.
I haven't seen this done before, and there's definitely not a DIY on it. I wouldn't mind making one if someone was interested, but it seems pretty straightforward if you read Stimpy's door panel DIY. .
Anyway, just wanting feedback on what you think of the idea. Just wanna make sure it's not just the redneck in me that thinks this is the coolest **** EVER!
